हे गोव्यातले (गोयचे) सर्वात सुप्रसिध्द आणि सुंदर चर्च आहे. बझिलिक या शब्दाचा अर्थ "दुतर्फा खांबांची रांग आणि अर्धवर्तुळाकार घुमट असलेला प्राचीन रोममधला लांबट आकाराचा दिवाणखाना" असा होतो. साधारण अशीच रचना या चर्चची आहे.
