Several Mumbai organisations plan to hold a silent candle light vigil in the memory of the slain Pakistani leader Benazir Bhutto here Saturday.
Pakistan-India Peoples Forum for Peace & Democracy (PIPFPD) and Peace Mumbai, an umbrella organisation of similar voluntary groups, are holding the vigil and have appealed to the residents of the metropolis to participate in large numbers.
"It (vigil) will be held at the Gateway of India in south Mumbai. Our aim is to protest against violence in Pakistan, Benazir's assassination and to express solidarity with the people of that country," said Jatin Desai, general secretary of PIPFPD.

You are absolutely right Pavwalafrommumbai!
We dont care enough for our brave soldiers who die in Kashmir, then why like hypocrites and psuedo intellectuals hold these candle light vigils for leaders of our enemy nation who in first place were instigators of terrorism in Kashmir and rest of INDIA.

I agree with Pavwala.
In fact i don't know why the PIPFPD exists in the first place! Shouldn't it be just PPFPD, after all India has always been a democracy and will always be one...
With regards to the candle light vigil, sadly i feel that this is due to the inherent goodness which is built-in the people of India.
Nowhere else in the world will you find a more patient and tolerant people than Indians.
So we tend to ignore that it was she who ordered Musharaff to lift Osama from Sudan and give him sanctuary in Pakistan, we tend to forget that it was under her rule that Dawood Bhai was given total ISI shelter and pakistani passport, it was under her rule that Mumbai bomb blasts occurred...
For most Indians all sins of an enemy are forgiven once the enemy is dead
So we forget (and are now ready to forgive ?) all those things and equate her father with Indira Gandhi and her with Rajiv Gandhi.

Assasination is discouraged, but not of these corrupt politicians. No point served in memorising Benazir.
