After the invasion of world cinema in multiplexes in India, the British Independent cinema is ready to set its foot in the country. Come February and filmgoers will get a chance to watch Independent films made by British directors in multiplexes across Mumbai, Pune and Bangalore.
Sarah McKenzie, senior executive (export development) of the UK Film Council who is in Mumbai for the 11th edition of the Mumbai Film Festival said, "Not only will the audience get to watch films, but will also be able to interact with the cast after the screening of the film.''
