A curfew was on Sunday clamped in Dhule town in North Maharashtra where at least 100 people were injured in clashes between two communities, police said.
"100 people, including eight policemen and additional collector M Y Patel were injured in stone-pelting incidents, they said, adding rioters set ablaze 12 houses, damaged vehicles, and looted various shops in Azad Nagar, Moglai, Gurudwara, Bhangar Bazar and Ekveera Devi Chowk localities.
