I do not know who has designed the benches provided on platforms at Dadar central rly stn.Its total length is 72 inches and meant only for 3persons,where as in through trains [for journey of more than 3hours],the length of the bench is too less.Moreover,one can not make room for fourth person as the bench has 2 railings in between !!! 2]There were some busstops in Pune,which could hardly serve the purpose of shelter. 3] Now for some GANESHBHAKTAS some skywalks are being elevated by 5/10 feet to accommodate the height of Ganeshmoorthi.Nobody thinks about the senior citizens.

Quite good analysis. Even i have observed in some of the new trains (surprisingly not all) have very little space between the seats and they are indeed low in the heights. Its not very comfortable to seat and move out.
Does any engineering happens at all in these manufacturing or they just take any government work for granted.
