One hundred and three people were killed and 29 injured in a stampede at the Chamunda Devi temple in Jodhpur on Tuesday, a senior Rajasthan government official said.
The incident took place at the start of Navaratra festival on Tuesday.

There seems to be some competition in getting killed in a bomb-blast and getting killed in a stampede..
I don't know why but i have never gone beyond visiting the local temples in my area.. local branch works just fine with me.. I have never felt the need to visit the head office :-)

As if god was gifting an early bird prize and special offer for the very first devotee who would make it to the temple.Everything is just so hyper nowadays.

Rediff shows the count as 140. This is crazy .. now terrorist should at least understand that there is no need to painstickingly built the bomb and risk their own lives for such expensive terror attacks. People are dyeing anyways.
