Sena is having talks with jumbo king vada pav for genrating employment opportnities among young maharashtrians. Sounds little confusing, isn't it? How many of us would be happy replacing vada pav gadi with jumbo king corner .. i doubt. Besides that will this really solve the employment problem or take away the only opportunity they have.
Jumbo king will be willing to tie up with sena in ensuring the marketing of hygienic vada pavs.

Interesting news indeed..
"willing to tie up with the Sena in ensuring the marketing of hygienic vada pavs" ??
Any details available on what is the exact nature of the tie-up ?
Will sena shakas do promoting of JK vada pav.. or will the shakas rent out their space for JK to operate :-)
Without more details one would be inclined to think that at most it will just be a case of ensuring Marathi youth get preference for employment at the Jumbo King outlets..
PS: anybody remember the Zunkha-Bhakar scheme..

I am not a big fan of JK vada pav.Would rather prefer the localised versions.Sena should encourage the marathi youth to provide end to end solution vada pav solutions.Alliances would not work here.

haha .. what a punch.
Sena has made enough money from zhunka bhkar kendra. Now half of these are converted into hotels and bars (after midnight, you can take ur own booze and have chinese there). Now Vada pav, and then bhel puri, sandwitch wala .. everybody will have food chains.

Partnership would be the last thing they would want to teach the marathi enterpreneurs.Let the risks be of our own and the returns as well.

on a side note samosa seems to have replaced batata vada as the no 1 street food in Mumbai.. you can ask roadside gadiwallahs or thela shop if you dont believe it.
i myself didn't think it was true the first time i heard it. but then found it seemed to have happened when i paid more attention at various snack corners near home and office. more batches of samosas are prepared and they sell faster as well
i wonder if Uddhav will ask maharashtrians to eat only vadas and stop eating samosas :)
