Haji Mastan is the old guy who dies in the begining of the movie COMPANY. He was afghan immigrant settled in mumbai and one of the founders of organized crime in mumbai.

its should be a fascinating story. An afghan coming to bombay[it was bombay then], and creating his own gang. The movie would be fine unless Ekta kapoor introduces his afghan saas, bahu, baa & kids who die and reappear milion times :)
