1) Large numbers of Marathis have relocated to other Hindi and non Hindi states and are staying there for decades. All of them speak and communicate in local language be it be Gujrathi, Kannad , Tamil , Telugu , Hindi etc. They speak and converse in local language. They truly respect local language and culture. Further they stay there legally by paying proper taxes , do not do any encroachment , do not get unauthorized water and electric connections , do not occupy foot paths and are very much part of the value addition to the local state . Even Marathi speaking residents of Belgaon, who wish Belgaon to be in Maharashtra also speak Kannad fluently and do not disrespect kannad. Here in Mumbai and Maharashtra non Marathis who are staying legally, pay taxes, respect local language and culture are staying peacefully for generations without any problem. Take example of Parsis , as promised by their king (Darais ) centuries back they have preserved their identity but have contributed to the development even after respecting local language and culture. Nobody has any complaint against them.
Our constitution has given right to everybody to stay anywhere but not as illegal dwellers, and not for getting illegal water and electric connections, encroaching lands, blocking foot -paths, getting bogus ration cards etc. The illegal dwellers in Maharashtra are not willing to pay taxes and want all utilities and facilities free of cost just by claiming the right to stay anywhere.
For providing water to Mumbai, dams have been constructed on 7 major rivers in Thane district. The people residing in nearby area do not get water from these dams. Village women have to carry water on their head. Because of catchment areas even well in this area do not get natural supply of water. Is this natural justice?
This is wrong and should be effectively communicated by all TV News Channels and News Papers that do not support illegal relocation of anybody in any state be it be Maharashtra or any other state and that too for cheap publicity .
2) Vodafone is a classic case of injustice with Marathi and Maharashtra.
Anybody carrying mobile having Vodafone services when crosses Maharashtra border gets the services in respective local language like Gujrathi, Punjabi, Kannad, Telugu, and Tamil etc. In most cases even Hindi Services are blocked, services in Hindi should be mandatory, it is the national language and must be respected. Vodafone in Maharashtra does not have services on Marathi and adamantly tell that do not have any software for services in Marathi. Neither State Congress govt. nor TELECOM REGULATORY AUTHORITY OF INDIA feel necessary to look into the matter. Vodafone is an international giant and would be least interested in suppressing Marathi. The local Indians of Vodafone have a clear non Marathi agenda.
3) As per my little knowledge, in Maharashtra, every professional has to pay a minimum consolidated tax (may be Rs. 1500/annum). Even if somebody is selling Chanas and Peanuts he has to pay this tax (Please confirm with authority). Tax departments can give the list of such tax payers which can be compared with the Ration Cards issued. Wild guess suggests that at least 90% of illegal dwellers in Maharashtra do not pay any tax. In India anybody can stay anywhere but has to pay taxes also.
4) All Marathi ministers in Central Cabinet speak in Hindi, ministers from south speak either in their local language or English. As the Indians why do they not respect our national language? After more than 60 years of freedom and unified India why they cannot speak Hindi? Why TV Channels have never objected this
5) There is a limit to number of persons staying in any particular area, it has natural limitations. Laws of Nature cannot allow any number of persons to reside in a
limited area.

This is bsce history will tell u India was always like Europe or Arabia one land but different countries ruled by different kings having different languages, culture, cuisine even though these countries have now come together to create india as one union (Union of India). However no one language or culture or cusine or music can become national since its a union and not one country with one language one culture one king one cusine which use to exist for thousands of years like greece or china. Marathi ministers and few marathi manoos speak hindi bsce they have accepted slavery of north indians or hindians for money and kanadigs, tamils, malyali, telgus have not therefore banglore, chennai, trivandrum is still safe from the very problems u mention exist in maharashtra.

udayvaidya11 u mention "services in Hindi should be mandatory, it is the national language and must be respected"???? I am shocked at ur ignorance and yet u claim ur a marathi. India does not have any national language. India is a union and all 23 languages have only offical status. Read this link if u dont know http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/india/Learning-with-the-Times-India-doesnt-have-any-national-language/articleshow/5234047.cms
