Western Railway has found a permanent solution to the deluge of commuter complaints about dirty seats in first class compartments.
It has planned a complete seat cover overhaul where green rexine covers will be replaced by dark brown ones on which dirty marks won’t show up easily.
There’s good news for lady commuters too. The walls in the first class compartments will have graffiti resistant ply sheets, which means no more obscene messages.
