The disabled son of a municipal employee from Ulhasnagar has been running from pillar-to-post trying to get a telephone booth allotted to him by the municipal corporation for the last four years, without any success.
Mr Krishna Dhoble (32), a resident of camp number four in Ulhasnagar, was disabled due to polio at the age of four.
His father, Mr Shankar Dhoble, was employed with the Ulhasnagar Municipal Corporation (UMC) but passed away 10 years ago. Following his demise, Krishna’s elder brother Raju got a job with the corporation. Krishna, meanwhile, was deterred by his disability and earned what he could by working at a cremation ground in his locality since the age of 14.
