Following Brihanmumbai Electricity Supply Transport (BEST) general manager Uttam Khobragade’s outburst on Thursday, Reliance Energy Limited (REL) argued before the Appellate Tribunal for Electricity on Friday that the Maharashtra Energy Regulatory Commission (MERC) has erred in approving the Power Purchase agreement (PPA) without considering the impact on REL consumers.
