The proposed tramway project in Navi Mumbai seems to gaining momentum. The state government had recently written to Navi Mumbai civic authorities expressing its willingness to spend money on the conceptualisation of the project.
Navi Mumbai municipal commissioner Vijay Nahata said the civic body was not averse to the project but will go ahead with it only after verifying the possibility.
