A 31-year-old woman who was robbed of her mobile phone on April 16 while travelling in a BEST bus, snatched it back from the thieves in the same bus a week later on Wednesday.
The courageous IT professional’s regret, however, was that nobody stepped forward to help her nab the two thieves who wrenched themselves free and fled.
What’s more, when she insisted on filing a complaint with the Goregaon police, they wanted to know that if she could “fight two men like Rani Laxmibai, why couldn’t she nab them herself”!

If this is an attitude of people who r suppose to guard us aganist crime No doubt crime is increasing in Mumbai.
In very likely probability she would have done same thing if it wasn't her mobile. Mumbai is turning into world city now :), don't expect all this stepping forward and helping and all the shit .. especially in office hours :(.
What she is expecting is called culture of the place, she is in IT and she definately needs a world city to progress more in her field .. she can't have both.
I feel very sad .. thank god today is friday.
