Shiv Sena Chief Bal Thackeray has criticized Maharashtra Navnirman Sena Chief Raj Thackeray for the violence in the state that resulted in the death of a Maharashtrian.
Ambadas Dharrao, a Maharashtrian, had died in stone pelting incident at Nashik which took place after the arrest of MNS Chief Raj Thackeray, two days ago.
On Friday, in an editorial titled 'Ambadas, tumcha gunha kaay', (Ambadas, what is your crime) in 'Saamna' - Sena mouthpiece, Mr Thackeray, criticising MNS, stated that the party has raised on ''the dead body of a Maharashtrian.'' He said that Sena has been working for Marathi pride relentlessly and at times have been aggressive, but their agitations have never led to a Maharashtrian losing his life.
The editorial, also criticising the news channels and politicians, pointed out that the same news channels and Amar Singh were raising their voice for the injustice that the North Indians faced but did not react on this issue.

As Shiv sena is losing their power, Bal Tahckarey started making such statements. I know violence cannot be justified but instead of criticising he should understand the depth of issue raised by Raj and should support him to solve this problem without violence.

Bal thackerey has lost his mental balance long back. Raj is fighting for the same thing as he was doing a couple of decades back. What he means by criticising Raj for a death of a Maharashtraian? Would it be OK, if a north Indian had dies? Thackeray is no different from other dirty politicians. Early we get rid of such idots, it would be better for Maharashtra. at least it will then allow some other responsible Marathi leader to evolve.

Look at their statements - Marathi manoos should not suffer, Marathi manoos should not get killed.
Nobody would have said anything is some bihari or bhaiyya got killed. They may have celebrated.

like Karunananidhi? Jaya? Stalin? Buddhadeb? YSR/Chandrababu? VS Achutanandan? Mulayalam? Mayawati?
These are the responsible leaders, you are referring to which Maharashtra should have?
Do you want a list of the kind of nonsesne these guys have been to upto in their states?
Anyway, Raj T is on probation. The Marathi speaking people have to watch what we does, step by step, what and how he tackles each issue and whether he has the courage to ask the politically incorrect questions-which are correct for the Maharashtrian, and actually has the guts to tackle issues wherever and whenever there is genuine discrimination against Maharashtrians, Marathi and Maharashtra. The M-M-M. Does he have the courage to tackle discrimination wherever it is found? Does he have the courage to ask the politically wrong questions, the questions that our beautiful people do not want to ask, which will open the eyes of the Maharashtrian and make him less gullible? Does he have the courage to take up issues where Maharashtrians have genuine grouses and tackle these issues even if he is condemned by the English/Hindi media-which has shown its blatant anti-Marathi bias in the last 3 weeks?
The 12 crore people of MH are watching.

Don't go to another extreme. Let us see your examples one by one. I find nothing wrong with the likes of, say, Chandra Babu or for that matter even Achutanandan. Mulayam, Mayawati and Karunanidhi are criminals and should be put to a firing squad. What I was referring to by saying that we should get rid of the old wood like Bal Thackeray was in different context. You wil notice that after Shivaji and then probably Tilak, he and Pawar are the guys with best possible popularity one could enjoy. But this old man sinc ehis prime days ahs simply manipulated the things rather than converting his popularity into something constructive. Take anti-lungi movement, anti-muslim or pro-hindu stance or anti-Valentine/Michael Jackson. He has changed his stance so many times, it is just impossible to trust him. You may not know, Late Ga. Va. Beheray had rightly called ShivSena a prostitute in politics. Next day, as usual, his house was stones by this Thackeray's goons. He is one of the biggest criminals in Maharashtra today. You may know how he stopped the Sikhs massacre in Mumbai taking unimginable ransom from Mumbai's sikh community in 1984. For a change, he was granted power in Maharashtra once, he used it only for enriching his own treasury. His type of king makers are good for nothing. By sitting out of power, he is not directly responsible for any thing, but he can manipulate the things the way he wants. He could replace Manohar Joshi overnight and put a hard core criminal like Rane into CM's chair. Maharashtra was not insulted like this before, even in Congress' high command days. Never we had a criminal as our CM. I think it is enough said about him. About Raj, I would only say that he is very much correct in his stance, but his voice is too weak to be heard. And he could put the things in correct perspective. Tragedy, he is being used as a pawn by the Congress against ShivSena. The old Thackeray has and had mostly goons by his side, the situation is not different with Raj also.

My deat friend , please come with me to AP and I shall show you N number of reasons why Chandrababu is as terrible a man as of any of the people you named above. Sitting here, I can provide you a long list of the wrongs committed by Chandrababu; he was just a hype master. Nothing else-people in AP know it well. Naidu hyped up AP and Hyderabad-he was a terrible CM in most respects. He got good support from the English press and was idolized by the English press but as always, the English press was out of touch with reality totally.
So Chandrababu belongs to that list-don't believe all that hi-tech hype. If you have the time, come with me to AP and I'll show you.
Or I'll give all the details sitting here itself.

Dear Vikas, I think there is another side to it as far as Chandrababu is concerned. When Chandrababu had risen to power, he had the legacy of Rama Rao who was just a populist and pathetic administrator. He had absolutely no knowledge of what peoples welfare is and how it can be achieved through politics. With all other parameters of the situation in Andhra remaining the same, Chandrababu gave Andhra a new image. He introduced the computer networking to many interior towns which enabaled farmers to monitor the prices of the agricultural produce. I can tell you that the farmers in Maharashtra neighbouring Andhra border also make use of it and send their goods to Hyderabad at times. You may note that Bill Gates would not go to Hyderabad merely on hype. You may see decline in the infrastructural intiative taken by Chandrababu with the new government in place, because they shifted their focus. It is no different from what the previous Congress governments did in Andhra, do cate politics and do nothing effectively. In this scenario and in general messy Indian politics, Chandrababu is undoubtedly a hero. It was unfortunate that he did not pay adequate attention on other fronts. He cannot for sure be compared to the goons like Senior Thackeray, Laloo and Mulayams. One ought to appreciate his sincerity.

Thackeray's changing stance is simply because of the following:
First the South Indians came
Then the NOrth Indians
Then the Bangladeshis came
Then the UP Muslims came
As Mumbai's demography changed with successive waves and waves and waves and waves and waves of immigration from other parts of the country, Thackeray opposed each wave as it came. Because the wave was at one time from South India, so he opposed it. Then it was from North India, so he opposed it. THen from Bangladesh, so he opposed it.
Don't have any illusions-violence and anti-outsider protests in MH are NOT going to go away. If anything, as long as the Government of Maharashtra does not systemtically re-engineer the economy of Maharashtra to make it 'Maharashtrian friendly", migration shall continue. As long as this migration continues, demographic change shall continue. As long as this happens-and it is going to get worse and worse-the protests and violence shall also continue and may even get worse.
Rest assured-the feelings unleashed by the MNS are not going to reduce, still less disappear. They are going to grow and grow and may get worse and worse. We ignore them at our peril.

If Maharashtra were a company, and Thackeray an employee with his job as "find permanent solution to migrants", he would have been fired due to non-performance and indiscipline, lack of focus, inability to meet targets, and chronic short term perspective.
But he still has his job. Because his seniors (maharashtrians) said he is an employee with a good heart.
Now he has retired, and there are two new employees with the same job. Both have not suggested any new idea. So performance equal to last employee. But nobody will fire him, as there is no other applicant for the job. :-D

Asthipanjiar:
Your solutions are?
BTW, the reason he has not found a solution is because of the following reasons: (none of which he has power over)
1.) The absence of any work-permit system
2.) The absence of visa system
3.) The absence of any way of controlling migration
4.) That part called "freedom to go anywhere."
5.) That thing called the Indian Railways.
Do you have any ideas? If not, sarcasm is needless. Trust me, if you had the same job, you would fail too. BECAUSE THERE IS NO SOLUTION-that is why he has unable to stop it.
If you notice, Thackeray has recommended a system of work permits.
If you notice, Thackeray had recommended an end to migration.
If you notice, he had said many times that the government must introduce a system of work permits.
So Thackeray cannot find a solution not ebcause he can't find one-but because he can't implement it-and he can't implement it because the laws of the land prohibit him from implementing. It is illegal. The solutions that Thackeray proposes, if you give him free power and no restrcitions of constitution and so on-he can stop ALL MIGRANTS from coming to Mumbai. But he needs total and absolute power and freedom to violate the constituion.
Sarcasm is needless and unneccessary. Can you propose any ideas? Do you have any ideas? Could you have done a better job? Could anyone?
What do you propose are the solutions to the problems of enmasse migration into Mumbai? What in your opinion, is the solution? Since you are being so sarcastic-I think you should appreciate-Thackeray has the solutions and knows how to stop it. The constitution has tied his hands and made it illegal for him to do so. So what can you expect?
He has found the solutions and he knows what to do to stop migration. But he can't do it-because the constitution prevents him from doing so.
Over and above this, you do realise that he can't do anything.

Chandrababu gave Andhra a new image..
True, but not neccessarily a new reality.
Naidu was as corrupt a man as of any of the above you have named-senior Thackeray, Laloo, Mulayalam. He and his cohorts Ramoji Rao of Eenadu do not need any lessons in the corruption department. Not sure why he is a hero, as corrupt as any of these guys.
As far as Hyderabad is concerned, dude lets keep one thing in mind:
Hyderabad is SMALLER (economy wise, city GDP wise) than PUNE.
So, do you see what I'm saying, about the Hyderabad Hype?
Naidu talked 90 %, did about 1 %. The remaining he swallowed, along with help from Ramoji Rao.
Ultimately, the Telugu media is the best barometer of the state. The English media is read by not even 1-2 % of the population. Hence, it can never represent the masses-it does not have any chances. And the Telugu media was really critical of Naidu.

vikas, if thackeray is powerless for 40 years, and cant do anything, whats he doing with his party.. is it for talking and occasional beating, or for doing something? if he cant do something, disband the party na.. why waste everyones time talking about things which are not going to change.
my solutions? I have 2 solutions.
1. the aamchi mumbai solution.
First, have a proper campaign in Maharahtra about the problem. Continue the campaign for an year or two continusouly - not like once in six months or one year as hes doing. if Maharashtrians are convinced about his arguments, NCP and Congress wont get votes. Start a campaign to change the constitution. This is not easy, it may take years. But he had 40 years :D When there is sufficient public interest, parties will agree to change the constitution.
Constitution has been changed before, can be changed again if enough people want it.
2. The cosmo mumbai solution.
Go in the other direction. Cut down corruption, invest massively in expanding Mumbai all the way through Navi Mumbai up to Pune. Maharashtra is a huge state, there is a shortage of space only in Mumbai. Make the state business-friendly, process applications faster, enlarge the plice force by 10 X, ensure there are more jobs being created than there is demand.
This will require massive administrative skills. But it can be done. You may even need foreign experts to do it all.
But I agree that both will not happen. Why?
Because both require building a Maharashtra-wide consensus. Mumbaikars, Mahrshtrians, NCP, Congress, BJP - all should agree for it to work either way.
But my point remains. If both the options are too difficult for anyone, they should stop this constant bakwaas and retire. Sena and MNS both believe that some talk and some beating will get them what they want. They are just fooling people.
Build a consensus for a culture-Maharashtrian oriented Mumbai, or a cosmo Mumbai. But both requires hard work and understanding, and uncle Thack and nephew Thack dont want to bother.
Both think its a matter of some talk and some muscle.

Asthipanjar?:
Neither Mumbai NOR Maharashtra can accomadate ANY MORE MIGRANTS.
This is the basic reality which has to be understood. Neither Mumbai nor Maharashtra can accomadate more migrants. No Navi MUmbai, No Navi Pune no Massive expansion-no Nothing.
Please understand this: Mumbai and Maharashtra have reached the end of their tether. They CANNOT accomadate more people.
BTW, are you naive enough to think that the constitution is going to be changed? Even if ALL 12 CRORES MAHARASHTRIANS ASK FOR IT-do you really think so? Even if everyone says plese change it, do you really think the Government is EVER GOING to change-are you naive to think so?
Guru, with due respect, which dream world are you living in?
Give me a break. Thackeray and everyone else knows that whatever you do, whatever you say, NOTHING is going to change. The CONSTITUTION IS NEVER GOING TO CHANGE-FORGET IT. Regardless of 12 crores Maharashtrians asking.
Remember even if 12 crores Maharashtrians ASK FOR IT, 88 CRORES NON-Marathis will OPPOSE IT. you have conviniently forgotten that point.
WHICH IS GREATER-88 CRORE OR 12 CRORE??
They are NEVER going to amend the constitution on this particular point.
KNow why?
Because they want people from their state to get jobs here. They want Mumbai to always be open to their children, relatives, family, and the people of their state. They always want to have the option of sending their people to MUmbai. They always want Mumbai and Maharashtra to be open o them.
Are you in a dream world to think that they are going to voluntarily close that option to them?
Is INdia going to voluntarily stop migrating to the U.S.A? Are we voluntarily going to reject H1B visas?
Think a little-and don't be so damn naive.
Do you really that 12 crores Maharashtrians are more important than 88 crores non-Maharashtrians? IN a democracy, who do you think they will listen to? WHo do you think the politicians will listen to?
88 crores? Or 12 crores?

Maharashtra is a huge state, there is a shortage of space only in Mumbai...do you think that every inch of land in MH has to be grabbed just to accomadate all these migrants? Have you forgotten that there are people living there on that land?
This is the problem with you guys. You seem to think that every spare of inch has to be grabbed and is there only to be grabbed just to accomadate migrants. Will you grab ALL the land in Maharashtra just to accomadate outsiders. What is all this nonsesne of expanding MUmbai? People are living on that land-you want to take it away from them and give it to these migrants?
Land everywhere in Maharashtra has to be grabbed and grabbed and grabbed just to accomadate the spill over from Mumbai. The spill over and the influx is so great that you will have to grab every spare inch of land just to accomadate these people.
Do you see now-the only solution is deindustrialize Maharashtra in every field, move colleges out, move industries, factories out and-like Jammu & Kashmir-ban the sale of land/property to non-Maharashtrians. THis law actually should be there in MH if it is there in:
Himachal
Uttaranchal
Jammu & Kashmir
Sikkim
Nagaland
Manipur and the other NE states
Time Maharashtra implemented the same law.

there are 12 crore maharashtrians. 12 powerful maharashtrian politicians coming together can get the constitution changed - thats how politics works.
check for past amendments to the constitution. Forget 12 crore, 12000 people also dont bother in India. If you can get constitution changed, do it.
But I am interested in this: Vikas seems to think that Maharshtra cannot absorb migrants under any circumstances, and de-industralising Maharashtra is the solution.

Please think a little. This is one of the fundamental rights of the constitution-amending it is not like amending some other thing, some petty thing-this is the very heart of the constitution we are talking about.
Besides-who are you kidding me? The rest of India is OF COURSE going to oppose? If someone passes a law saying that non Indian can go to US/UK-are you kidding that anyone in India IS NOT going to OPPOSE IT?
See. Mumbai is to India what the Gulf is to people from Bangladesh and Pakistan and even Kerala. It is a land of opportunities. Hence, do you really think (even for a split milli second) that the rest of India will peacefull watch as the Marathi speaking people say:
"No more migrants to Mumbai?"
Heck, they are all saying it belongs to India. So do you think they are going to peacefully watch as we bar them from coming??
The same people who are saying it belongs to us-THEY ARE GOING TO PEACEFULLY WATCH???!!
Are the Malayalees going to peacefully watch if the Gulf BARS Malayalees from entering the Gulf?
Are the Tamils going to watch if KA bars them from entering Bangalore?
Are the Indians going to watch as the USA/UK debars them from coming to the US/UK PERMANENTLY.
So how on earth do you think this is going to happen?
This is a FUNDAMENTAL RIGHT- ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT ONES TOO-not some petty article or bylaw.

Keep a close eye on MNS. Support it in any way you can. I think the party has potential. It needs time to make mistakes, to grow, to stumble along the way, to fall, to err and to evolve. I think the MNS deserves the support of the Marathi people; at the very least don't condemn straight away. Observe-see the truth in what they say and then speak, see the situation in other states and then speak, keep in mind the facts and the reality and then comment.
I think MNS is going to go places. But it will take time. In that period, I think the Marathi speaking people should not outrightly condemn MNS but observe it. I would say even help it, try and send them your suggestions on what they as a party should do in future. MNS in future can the TRUE regional party of Maharashtra. The REAL regional party.
First things first: they must create a website for their party.
Above all, don't dismiss what MNS does. Just observe and even give support=in whichever way you can. Even writing letters to suggest areas they could tackle where you feel discrimination against Marathi and Maharashtrians exist. Wherever you feel discrimination against Marathi and Maharashtrians exist, the MNS can be told or informed. We will see how they tackle it. The MNS is the last chance that Maharashtra has to have a real regional party a la DMK, TDP, CPM in West Bengal, Akali Dal, BJP in Gujarat.
Every true Maharashtrian hopes that the MNS grows and grows and systematically takes up discrimination against Marathi/Maharashtrians wherever it exists and puts the spot light on it. Every true Maharashtrian hopes that the MNS becomes a powerful regional party, by going into every nook and corner of the state-not just Mumbai and Pune-every nook and cranny and corner and establish a pan-Maharashtra organization.
The question is: whither MNS?
The answer could change the political landscape of Maharashtra-if answered CORRECTLY.
The answer, could crush RT as well as the Marathi speaking peoples hopes-and he is the last chance, if answered WRONGLY.
Raj Thackeray should keep in mind:
Merely being a Mumbai-Pune centric party will NOT do. Merely staying in Dadar will not do. YOu have to establish a cadre network, a branch network and a base in every nook and corner-ever town and taluka of the state like the CPM/DMK/TDP. Every town in Maharashtra-and Maharashtra has hundreds of such towns-must have an MNS presence. It must be a pan Maharashtra party.
Can it do it?
12 crores Maharashtrians are watching.
But why only watch? If what the MNS is saying touches a chord-then why not support it? If you feel that there are issues which should be raised by the MNS-then do let them know. This is the only way they can move ahead.

nilagriva,
What MNS is doing could have been saved if this problem could have been addressed in a specific manner. But the question is, is there one? How do you fight for “your” rights, when “you” will be identified as a fundamentalist even before you speak out.
MNS represents the frustration with being branded as a fanatic before someone hears to your cause, no matter how genuine it is. Under these circumstances, should MNS sit quiet and have Biharis by their train-loads coming to Maharashtra and gobbling up jobs or do these people need to take a stance. Atleast appreciate these people, they have gone through lathii charges, arrests et al for the sake of fellow Maharashtrians when all of us here can be arm-chair specialists and keep honkering on the same old questions:
1. MNS is a fanatic organization bent on violence.
2. We are all Indians and hence its ok. We should not complain.
3. The law should be fixed (AFAIK, no politician as even spoken about it, so why bother with implenting the law)
If there is so much of an identity crisis that you face in recognizing yourself with KRV, ask what you can do about it or what can be done about it. You will yourself come to the sad conclusion that there is absolutely nothing that can be done about it. So Good Luck.
Please keep it in mind: Bal Thackeray did not fail, his methods did not fail. The reason he did not fail was because he never launched a sustained-ULFA/JKLF style campaign against migrants. Thackeray only beat a few people and left it at that. Karunanidhi literally erased Tamil Brahmins from Chennai-check out the Tamil brahmin areas of Chennai-Triplicane, Mylapore-these are the worst in terms of the facilties provided to them by the government. Is it a coincidence?
DMK systematically erased Tamil Brahms from TN, Akali Dal supported a genoicide against non-Sikhs called Khalistan, DMK supported LTTE, Gujarat BJP massacred some 1,000 Muslims and literally forced thousands, maybe tens of thousands of Muslims to flee Gujarat and Ahmedabad in particular. Today, there are buildings in Ahmedabad which ar literally empty-all vacated by their Gujarati Muslim tenants.
Please tell me:
As compared to the non-Sikhs killed by the Khalistanis-how does Thackeray compare?
Yet, who dares criticize Akali Dal?
As compared to the number of Tam Brahms who have left TN because of DMK/AIADMK-how many non-Marathis have left Mumbai?
Yet, who dares criticize Karunanidhi? You? Me? The English media? The Hindi media?
As compared to the Gujarat BJP...Thackeray?
As compared to the ULFA/JKLF?
So, therefore-do you see how fallacious your point is?
In actual fact, Thackeray's methods did not fail. He just did not make it a sustained, committed campaign which would go into every aspect of life. He didn't sustain the campain and make it relentless.
The methods did not fail-he never fully applied those methods and took them to their logical conclusion. These methods were mere pin pricks with him; he didn't take them to their logical conclusion and keep on and on and on and on doing them a la the DMK, Gujarat BJP etc.
That was it why failed-not the methods themselves.

The short-term solution: discrimination against Maharashtrians in all speheres to be reduced and eventually eliminated. The first step: to take each issue and relentlessly raise awareness in all parts of Maharashtra. The first challenge is to make the Maharashtrian aware of what he has lost, how much he is long, how much more he is going to lose. The first step is awareness, creating awareness in every town and taluka and village of this state. Then taking up and eliminating discrimination against Maharashtrians everywhere by not allowing the issue to die down, taking specific issues-howsoever politically incorrect-howsoever much criticism from the English press-and banging away at the issues-even if they create bad blood-until they are resolved. NO matter how much bad press and accusations of anti-nationalism this generates, it must be done.
The medium-term solution: a strong, very strong well-organized regional party which is of, for, by and only for the Maharashtrians. A regional party like the CPM in WB, dominant totally through out the state, which rules the state and makes no bones about being for the Maharashtrians first and foremost. It has to be a clear cut regional party. This party after winning power must insist on Maharashtrians getting preference everywhere and not only insist-BUT DO IT. ACTUALLY APPLY IT.
The long-term solution: A fundamental restructing of Maharashtra's economy and all sectors of life to ensure that migration to take up jobs in XYZABDEC sector is unneccessary because:
a.) The sector does not exist in Maharashtra because the government forced them to relocate to a neighbouring state
b.) The government forces them to employ Maharashtrians whether they like it or not otherwise they can move to neighbouring states.
An ULFA...you can complete the rest.

Bal Thackeray and Raj would have been OK if it was a north indian who was killed - galti se mistake ho gaya na ab
Look at their statements - Marathi manoos should not suffer, Marathi manoos should not get killed.
Nobody would have said anything is some bihari or bhaiyya got killed. They may have celebrated.
it would be better for Maharashtra. at least it will then allow some other responsible Marathi leader to evolve...
like Karunananidhi? Jaya? Stalin?
One ought to appreciate his sincerity.
you are probably right vikas. As right as punemusic is about thackeray too.
I cant understand how anyone can support any politician. They are all corrupt/ unprincipled / terrible persons who - if they are related to you, will be the worst relatives you can imagine.
Any politician is perfectly capable of destroying your life if you get in his way.
We ignore them at our peril.
and he hasnt managed to find a permanent solution to people coming in since 1960 :D
Do you really that 12 crores Maharashtrians are more important than 88 crores non-Maharashtrians? IN a democracy, who do you think they will listen to? WHo do you think the politicians will listen to?
88 crores? Or 12 crores?
Even if 12 crores Maharashtraians support changing the constitution-88 crores non-Maharashtrians WILL OPPOSE IT.
Why have you forgotten about that so conveniently?
vikas you think the entire india is on one side and maharashtra on the other side in this?
there are 12 crore maharashtrians. 12 powerful maharashtrian politicians coming together can get the constitution changed - thats how politics works.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Constitution_of_India#Amendments
check for past amendments to the constitution. Forget 12 crore, 12000 people also dont bother in India. If you can get constitution changed, do it.
But I am interested in this: Vikas seems to think that Maharshtra cannot absorb migrants under any circumstances, and de-industralising Maharashtra is the solution.
That is definitely a bold statement, vikas. At least you are taking a stand - Maharashtrian politicians are not doing that, all their vision is about thrashing 2 or 3 people there and giving some funda and forgeting it in a week.
if maharashtrian politicians had half your guts, this problem would have been solved peacefully.
Asthipanjiar:
Asthipanjar, hate to ask this but:
Have you gone mad?
Or are you trying to rile me:)?
12 crore people, if they want, can do anything.
Less than 12 MNS guys could create all that mayhem in Mumbai for a week :D
Forget 12 crore people wanting it, 12 crore people havent even decided which party they want. That is the first step!
AND
if you really really think that entire 88 crore Indians will oppose it, and 12 crore maharashtrians dont stand a chance, then its time to stop discussing this, right? whats the point in sitting and weeping if we have already lost the battle?
:)Bhai log waha MNS aur SP mast Paplet kat ke Fry kar ke with mast chilled Beer mar ke Dakkar Leke kabke so gaye.
Ab aap log bhi so jauuuuu matlab take a chill a pill :-D
Waise what u both think ye Mumbai se log vanish horahe hai ismein kiska haath hai? This is also nice topic to debate
:-D ;)
OM SHANTI OM
:-D
om shanti om to u too!
Vikas,
Likes your Comments!!! Asthipanjar you seems to be from Congress :-))
About Bala Saheb its time he should take retirement from everything !!! in fact Marathi people forget about it. For Eg. Lata didi, Sharad Pawar, Vasant sathye, Sachin Tendulkar karan one has to retire in his/her best time in Carrier. So people remember them Longer and not like Gavaskar :-((
About Marathi Politicians, its better that we do not talk about it. As all of them are SPINE_LESS, SHOE - POLISHERS!!!
They really shoot up my BP.
ShiveSena has lost its GRIP and Nuisances Value as well. They are SOLD OUT to Bhayyas & Biharis i guess.
Chavatm:
Are you a supporter of the MNS?
BTW, you said you are in WB. I assume you are in Kolkata. I haven;t been there in a long time, so I just wanted to know:
Is it still neccessary to learn Bengali to live in Kolkata?
Is it still a must to learn Bengali?
Or can you live happily and easily without even learning one word of Bengali?
All government documents i.e. forms, ration cards, RTO forms, electricity bill etc, shop signboards, bill boards, signboards-are they still ONLY in Bengali?
I remember State Government documents and signboards were always in Bengali alone. Has it changed?
Just wanted to know. Don't take offense.
This is of course if you are in WB:)
Chavatm:
This is the only way they can move ahead.
chavatm:
me and congress, haha.. not at all. I am pretty disgusted with everyone thats all. Raj is using the same failed tactics of his uncle, whats the use...
I believe that the problem is unity - if 12 crore Maharashtrians want something all together, they will get it. If they dont have unity, they wont get anything.
On the other hand, vikas things even with full unity, we wont get anything. In that case, I think we should admit defeat and stop wasting our time.
Both are ok with me.
Vikas, you said earlier that there are no solutions anyway, so why support the MNS then?!!!?!
Asthipanjar:
nilagriva,
What MNS is doing could have been saved if this problem could have been addressed in a specific manner.
Read all that. Agree with most of it too. But these are stuff which you have said ten times before.
YOU said there are no solutions. So what are you suggesting?
I am NOT making any points. I am just asking, if there are NO solutions, whats the point in anything?
What I understand from your paragraphs is:
1. There are no solutions
2. But MNS is doing something, so we should support them, even if there are no solutions.
Have i distilled it all right?
Correction:
how much he has "long" is to be changed to:
how much he has lost
