Patna: Violence continued unabated in Bihar on Thursday with agitated students indulging in arson and vandalism at several places as Biharsharif observed a complete bandh against the killing of an examinee allegedly in a brutal attack by MNS activists.
Scores of violent protestors ransacked the railway station at Motihari, headquarter of East Champaran district, smashing glass doors and panes of reservation and ticket counters before setting a police jeep ablaze, Superintendent of Police NH Khan said. Khan said the protestors, who resorted to violence two days ago, also damaged kiosks and eateries on the platform and badly damaged a fire tender, following which the police baton-charged and chased them away.
“The situation is completely under control with the arrival of CRPF reinforcements to assist the district police in controlling the situation,” he said.
Biharsharif, headquarters of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s home district Nalanda, observed a complete shutdown to protest the killing of Pavan Kumar, who was allegedly assaulted by MNS activists.
The government has already announced a compensation of Rs 1.5 lakh to the family of Pavan, a resident of Bara-khurd under Noorsarai police station.

Now Is it necessary to burn Bihar also ?Will it make any difference to Mumbai.
Already the state is not developing as compare to other states. and in that also they want to do "HALLA GULLAa" and destroy the whole property.

It is unfortunate. Bihar is part of India and if it is backward it will slow all of us down. Maharashtra itself is relatively backward when compared to Haryana and Punjab and many south indian states.
Recently on a trip to hinterland in Maharshtra, I faced 14 hours power cut and saw people living in absolute pverty. I had to sit on a road side, delapidated shop which was run by an old marathi couple. They made some food for me and water was as dirty as stinking. I was so humbled and sad.
No , I didn't see any North Indians or Bhayya logs there.
Energy =power= directly proportional to quality of life. I find it surprising that people can face 14 hours per cut and 5 hurs power cut in Mumbai and dont come out on roads and riot against Governemnt. But they are ready to burn 200 buses and beat poor vegetable vendors.
There was a report in Mumbai mirror which said how Raj Thaekray, could not use the Indian style loo in jail and was constipated for whole day. He drives a horde of luxury cars. Does he represent Marathi manoos just becuase he wear kolhapuri Chapals!!! Why is he not taking Govt. on on power shortage, clean water , roads!! Because, my dear friends, we indians are emotionally wired people. Anybody can fools us by inciting emotions in us.

well let's not mess up two issues in one blog. I guess this blogs talks about cheap mentality of biharis to burn that state
without having any reason and season and defaming Maharashtrians. It is loud & clear that that guy killed in train accident
and not in MNS attack. Still they are making a hue & cry. Who is going to reimburse the losses made out of it?
I completely agree that civil issues like powercut should be taken on priority too. But I don't think railway recruitement is
an emotional issue. I look it as a socio-economical issue. If all indians starts migrating to a progressive state then
imagine the load they are putting on Civil authorities of that state to provide amenities like water, electricity etc. And
too with centre apathy.
It is centre's responsiblity to provide additional funds for the same. See Mumbai is one who giving half of railway income to Centre and Delhi is one getting Metro Railway.....
And talking about indians last month only alone Maharashtra gave more than 10 Cr. to Bihar for flood relief where I myself gave my one day salary voluntarily.
Boss, the main issue is that for how many year a progressive state will carry burdern of sick(economically) state whose
leaders are busy in other affairs except public well being??????????????????

Absolutely right. These leaders are calling Raj Thakeray a Goonda, are they themselves clean. In fact, there are specimens (in those 2 states, who are in politics) who are professional criminals. The condition Bihar is in is pathetic. What their politicians are doing for that? You won't find the number of criminals in politics that these 2 states have, in any other state.

@prashu, Your main line of thought is:
"If all indians starts migrating to a progressive state then..."
By this you are infering that Maharshtra is a progressive state and then that ("if all indians") People are sitting ready with thier bag and baggaes to Migrate.
You are wrong on both the point. Let me state few things on your first point: Maharshtra has been doing very poorly on most fronts. And before you jump to say that it is because of north Indians, let me tell you that that would be a wrong assertion. Maharashtra was a power plus state till 1992 and after Enron debacle, it lost the plot and now most parts of rural Maharashtra suffer from day long power cuts. Planning commission had labeled Maharashtra as failed state. (Read here http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/articleshow/1408851.cms). Farmers are commiting suicide. In absense of elctricity, most of small or medium commercial activity comes to naught. No Maharshtra Leader is talking about it or doing anything about it. Why?
On many indices of development wheather social or economical , Maharashtra is lagging behind. Even smaller states like Kerala or Himachal are better off in terms of overll development.Gujarat is getting most of investment and so is Tamilnadu. Roads and transport in Maharstra has almost but crumbled. Look at roads in Mumbai and comapre them with Delhi. Mumbai has started resembling like a war torn city looking at its potholed roads. And none of it is due to Migrants.No. If you want more details of development indices and How Maharashtra fares, you could google it up. Also before you say that Mumbai is biggest tax payer to centre, yes, right. But Mumbai is made up of people from all across India. And I want to keep Mumbai separate from Maharashtra for argument sake as Metors like Delhi, Mumbai, Kal, banaglore are goverened by different dynamics than rural and semi-urab areas.
Now coming to second part, about people ready to migrate to progressive states. Yes, People migrate to greener pastures. And this is true for all ethnic groups. Indian are one of most active migrants second after Chinese. Indians are found everyhwere, where they could make better lives for them. They also do same within India. Most peopple migrate to Cities from villages as Cities are usually cetre of economic activity. Worldwide, modernisation has happened along with urbanisation. Cities are product of migrant and that why they have culture of their own, like Mumbai. Delhi gets lots of migrant workers from all across North India, so does Mumbai. This will increase as India becomes more urbanised. What we lack is palnning for this. We have to create mega coties like NY and London and chinese cities. The main reason that many bihairs and Upites come to Mumbai is for simple reason that they can not migrate to South due to language barrier. Mumbai has a Bombyia laguage which is unique creation. A bihari would be more comfortable in Mumbai than in Chennai or Banagalore. He would be happier in Delhi. The same reason that A marathi migrant would be happer going to Delhi than Thrichurapalli. In fact if you look at figures, the migration to Maharashtra on whole is decreasing as medium size industries are moving to Gujrat and many other places. You know ho many small and medium units have moved out of Pune after Feburary's MNS backlash!!
Now coming to another of your point about progressive states taking load of poorer states. I will ask you simple question, In Marathi culture or Indian culture, do we desert our brother and start beating him if he is not doing well??? If he is poor??
Bihar once was a centre of Indian culture, now it has fallen in bad times, but tomorrow it can resurrect.

In u r above scrap you have well written about Maharashtra's failure in recent years which is very much true. Good collection of facts and figures. I would be more happy If you collect same statistics of industrial development in those sick states. I would also like to know what is keeping those state behind in development? Singure-Nano is one good case study u can take.
Aren't you making your brother more lazy by supporting him instead of making him work for his own home(State)?
One last Q? If you love Bihar so much which you said was once a centre of Indian culture and which is going to be the last hope for Mankind tommorow, but is in bad state today, then why don't u get shifted to Bihar to work for making it what it was?
Just shift yourself over there and let one more brother of yours come here.

Perhaps the reason that they are so poor is because they are damn lazy?????? Now you see how faulty your argument is!!

Undercover. Here is one simple exapmle. You can understand it better if u r travelling by virar local.
As we all know that during evening time i.e. from 6.00pm to 9.00 pm virar and bhyander locals are too crowded. The condition is so bad that hardly 5-6 people get into viral and bhyander local from andheri, and in the same local we find every day 6-9 borivali people already got in from churchgate to dadar.
Always there is fight between borivali and bhyander/virar people that there are borivali locals which are every after 5-10 minutes."why they want to get into bhyander/virar local only".
why do they say this just because virar/bhyander locals are over crowded.
So same is the case with mumbai.
Mumbai has become like virar/bhyander local.. Over crowded. and that's why biharies have become like borivali people.
Ans so we don't want borivali people to get in virar local.
because virar/bhyander people just heep standing on andheri plateform and watch crowded virar/bhy crowded trains going!!!!!

Nice attempt with Analogy. But mass transport problems and urban infrastructure problems can not be solved by analogies.
Mumbai is a City a mega city. It is like London and NY. Mumbai will keep growing as it is financial center of India. Cities do not belong to a state. Do you know what State London is in? Mumbai does not belong to Marathi manoos alone and you have to read its history of who made Mumbai what it is. Mumbai is essense of India. It is neither Marathi, not bihari or tamil or anything. That is real Mumbai. So Now you have no rights to ask others to go or ask others not to come.
In utshell Biharis are not like Boivali people. Neither are you. And you do not own Mumbai so you haev no right to stop others from coming.

Like some think muslims are useless (20% of maharashtrians) , Some think Dalits and lower caste are usless and even kill them (Kahirlanji) (10% of mharshtrian), Some think that Marathi is only language that should be spoken nin Maharashtra , so what about Konkani, khadeshi and Gujrati???
I dont know which category you are, but someone would definitely think that you are also useless in some way.

Why you are debating so longly. As a Marathi(Maharashtra)we have to right to get the job in our land. But the people coming from other states, mostly north indias(UP) on a large number. Due to them slums & unemployment are increasingly day by day. They also support their leaders which is belong to north india , & doing their vote bank politics in Maharashtra. So, don't you think so that they are going to govern us in future? We will never accept OK.
Again there is question of railway recruitement, last time there were 55000 people, given railway board exam & from this only 55 marathi candidate pass out. Don't you think so, that there should be possiblility of high level curruption supported by railway board officers(north indians, biharis) and railway minister like laloo ( known for vote bank politics).
One thing i would like to mention here, that every indian have a right to go to anywhere in country , even it is in constitution, but one thing also in constitution that, rigional interest take into cosideration and they should get particular percentage of job in there home land.

All of us do. All of us are part of this chain buddy. When demand cease to exist, supply stops. When enough marathi manoos would open pan shops or will ply taxis, Biharis would find it economically unattractive and would go somewhere else.

@mimarathi08 Your first para is so full of conventional wisdom that I am not even going to comment on it. It is propaganda which is taught to you by some so called leaders. And in its hate, it is similar to what BJP preach to Hindus by saying that muslims will annihilate hindus.
In your second para you mention corruption. India ranks among one of most corrupt countries. And I say India. If you want to go by regions then let me tell you that Up/Bihar is full of corruption and so is Maharastra. Mumbai police (shall I call it Marathi police??) Is so corrput that they even take money (hafta) from prostitutes and beggers. So keeping corruption aside, couldnt there be some other reason that Marathi manoos are not getting through the jobs??? I mean why are only marathis not gettign jobs in railways...Oriya, Punjabis, tamils ..are not compalaining about it!!!
In your last para, you are right. But keep in mind that there is difference between regional interests and regionalism. Regionalism will destroy this country. And by the way.. you need to understand what home land means. Is it your village or taluka or your state or your country?

@lax7221 You are muddling the issues. Tell me, when a bihari comes to Mumbai and start plying taxi, how is he taking up your job? You can also ply taxi? Does a bIhari charge less from his customers in Taxi?
When UPite comes to Mumbai and opens a paan shop, how is he taking up yur job? You can also open a pan shop!! Does he sell his pan at less cost?? if so , why cant you do that as well??
When a Bihari comes to Pune and work as construction worker, how is he taking up your job? He is only filling the need. In my own state, most of construction activities are being done by Bihairs, and reason is that there is shortage of labour and many youth from my own state do not want to work as labourers and rather stay unemployed.
And about wages getting dictated by competition, yes, that is fact of life in modern world . We have already gone through protectionlist, license raj and I guess you know what we achieved by that.

Dear Undercover,
It is not lax but u r muddling the issues. Main debate was due to Railway recruitement. Posts were for Mumbai TC I guess and the minimum qualification was 10th passout.
Still people from Bihar have been brought here who sleep at platform and went to appear fo the exam.
Don't we have local 10th std. passout peoples who require jobs? Where these people should go when their rightfull jobs have been taken away.
And yes taxi, paanwalla cannot take out our jobs but they surely put stress on resources here. They do all possible things to take away customers from current vendors. Best example is traditional koli vs Bihari Macchiwala.
Instead of arguing from Bihari's point, Just answer to one question if everybody start migrating to Mumbai because their respective government is unable to provide them their livelihood then where should local people go?

Dear @prashu
How convenient of you . Now you say that main debate is only of railway recruitment. Ok, so railway recruits people like navy or army does. Or like any other centeral agency. Should Navi recruit only marathis when they have a recruitment camp in Colaba??? Ok, so there were biharis who came to take exam in MUmbai, so what is wrong? They didnt stop marathis from taking up the exams, or did they!! And no, before you say that , railway exam notices were put up in Marathi newspapers like Lokmat. And in any case, people can not tak up your jobs just by sitting in exams. Surely if you are good you can take up exam and pass the exam. You, see you only want to see one aspect and do not even want to discuss that you might have your own problem that you are not getting raiway jobs!! May be you are not studying hard. In Bihar andnUP, central jobs are craze , jyst loke in Banaglore Software jobs are craze. So isn't it possible that biharis are just more competent than others to take up and pass Railway jobs?? Isnt that a possibility??
Now to you seconf grouse of taxi walla putting stress on resources. So Should migration to Mumbai be stoppped completely? Why should someone from Marathwada be allowed to migrate to Mumbai. Nobody should be allowed inside Mumbai thaty includes everyone from poor Biharis to Poor marathis form villages. India has to be unique to find such fantastic solution to a Urban planning problem.
On s traditional koli vs Bihari Macchiwala... what is the issue here!! Compete, compete.... dont ask for reservations.
Finally to you last question - Mumabi is a metrco city like Banaglore, Chennai and Kolkata. It is a shame on us Indians that we have divied Cities on regions. Cities are economic hub and attract people from all regions, skills and trade. Cities can not be turned into provincial towns. Mumbai has always been migrant's city and has unique appeal in India and it should always remain that. Mumbai was made by parsis, guratis, marathis and so many more...so who is local?

The way you presenting your point of you, i think its totally one sided. You should think about what is good for maharashtra development and maharashtrian people & also for U.P.ultimately for India. Every state have their limits in respect of employment, resources etc. should understand north indian politicians. You should present your point in balanced way.
I agree with you, that cities are important part of modernisation. Cities are the first part of states, beacause thease cities represents their culture. Mumbai is a undevided part of maharashtra. 105 brave maharashrian people gave their blood for united maharashtra. This is not for north indians dirty politics & politicians.
The problem of migrants arise due to centralisation of development in country. Pliticians and we people are very much responsible that situation.

Dear Undercover.
Supporting Bihari goondaism in current is same as of Marathi bashing. U r talking about cities then why there are only 5 cities developed? and development of those 5 cities were started before independence.
Take your Indian view point to lalu/mayawati and ask them to develop their respective states instead of argueing with us.

No, I want 200 cities. or 2000. But cities dont get made just like that. Cities are not gorwn like plants. They are made over year and centuries like Mumbai.
But people like MNS can destroy a city and its culture in one cruel shot.
And finally, I am fed up of arguing with you. There is limit to my patient , specially when I am pitted against half wits whose lines of argument never goes beyond school kids.

I have already said that u were never having any point starting at the discussion and hence messing up issues and giving childish comments to other people views.
It is you whose dream of a big India is screwed up by those UP/Bihari leaders and u are not just accepting the facts.
I know you have crossed your limits and hence giving pitty personal comments.

Choranya Ultya Bombbaaaaaaaa......................
you are right Prashu .....Choranya Ultya Bombbaaaaaaaa.....................
well let's not mess up two issues in one blog.
Dear Undercover,
U r still messing up Bihar's no reason violence which is main topic of dicussion in this blog with Migration issue.
I really feel sorry about you.................
@prashu.
You say " I would be more happy If you collect same statistics of industrial development in those sick states"
Yeah , definite bro. read my post on how UP is pulling us down. But it does not mean that I will start beating poor people from UP. http://www.undercoverindian.com/2007/04/uttar-pradesh-pulling-india-down.html.
"Aren't you making your brother more lazy by supporting him instead of making him work for his own home(State)?"
If you ignore state argument for a moment, then can I ask this question from you that should Urban and rich Maharashtra leave Poor and dying farmers in Marahwada and otehr regions of rurual Maharashtra on thier own!!! Perhaps the reason that they are so poor is because they are damn lazy?????? Now you see how faulty your argument is!!
and finally "One last Q? If you love Bihar so much which you said was once a centre of Indian culture and wh......"
I love Bihar as much as I love Konkan and Kerala and Pune. If this lifetime is long wenough I should live and work in Bihar also.
And BTW, you dont have to feel sorry for me and to be honest I think that this statement of yours is more a reflection of yourself and what you might be feeling for you, deep inside somewhere.
@undercover You r talking about farmer suicide and electricity.
I add drinking water, slums, travel and many more problems..
And this is because "Bloody nonsense countless and not invited ups, biharis, gujjus and..............
@lax7221
"And this is because "Bloody nonsense countless and not invited ups, biharis, gujjus and.."
You make me laught man..laught becuase you are so naive, almost like a kid at candy store.
On serious side, your argument is very convenient for you. Keep in your little hole and keep imagining things about how others are responsible for all the wrong things that are happening with you.
Do you know that 70% of Indians (INDIANS) dont have access to safe drinking water?? So is that because of gujjus and biharis????
Do you know that Kolkatta as huge slums, some one of biggest in World. Is it because of Gujjus and Biharis and someother migrants??
@lax7221
"And this is because "Bloody nonsense countless and not invited ups, biharis, gujjus and.."
You make me laugh man..laugh because you are so naive, almost like a kid at candy store.
On serious side, your argument is very convenient for you. Keep in your little hole and keep imagining things about how others are responsible for all the wrong things that are happening with you.

@undercover u su-su first learn to send comment one time.
Whatever problem i mention are not before URR..(Maharashtra was a power plus state till 1992 .)
@helo
So you have no right to stop others from coming!!!!!
But we can make others(useless people) to not to come here and u better aware now, HOW we can?
@lax7221
You can not be the victim, the judge and the prosecutor my friend. So you can not claim that others are useless and you are more useful. I dont know what your defintion of useless is , but many people have many defintions.
Hi undercover,
Why you are debating so longly.
Thanks
Jai Hind-Jai Maharashtra
Useless: IF You do not need servant in your home/company/city/state/country but one/many person/persons come to your home/company/city/state/country and start working as servant then they are use
@lax7221
ha ha. you need to google "demand and supply" and it will clear your muddled mind.
Dont you want things good but cheap!! Dont you buy that cheap phone made in china or Tiwan. Dont you buy fruits which are cheaper!! Food you eat which might come from fields in Punjab is cheap because Farmers there can employ cheap bihari labor. Wouldn't you employ a servant who is cheaper than other???
All of us do. All of us are part of this chain buddy. When demand cease to exist, supply stops. When enough marathi manoos would open pan shops or will ply taxis, Biharis would find it economically unattractive and would go somewhere else.
Do you work in your village or in City where you find higehr wage??
@ToAll Bye. Have a good weekend and very happy Diwali to all of you. Take hatred and ignorance out of your hearts and spread some light on Diwali.
cheap phone made in china or any chip product is use less, USE FOR A DAY AND THROW like........
Other thing-- cheap bihari labor--(why)These people have avg 5-10 sons. they keep 1 with them send 4-9 in mumbai. 1 handle(all req.) whole family there and others in mumbai take another 5-10(brothers) live together. So they aford less income than maharastrians. BUT THE FACT IS THAT MAHARASTRAINS HAVE TO LOOK AFTER THEIR FAMILY.
I think so they are copying MNS style, but d strength dat Raj n his activist has dats incredible,in dat Biharis are doing unnecessarly, nobody is going to get scared of that,MNS did dat day against Police n RPF dat was really daring n full of emotions for Raj n Maharashtrians pride.

Jai Hind-Jai Maharashtra.
Dear all, want to know why maharatrians are against of NI?

@undercover hope u follow this link and my earlier comment.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U4CBWPJTGWw&feature=email
Every thing not run on 'demand and supply'. Cheap labor, whom they make happy 1 employer but your cheap labor make 10-100-1000's of people jobless here who earn only 50 rs. per day they can't compete with Ur 25 rs per day.
@lax7221 I suggest you read bit of economics. BTW, if you are really so passionate about labor protection, I suggest you should live in truly gandhian style.. that is, only consume what is produced within 5 KM of your village and community. Eat what is grown in your village, use what is made in your village and also work only in your village. And yeah dont by cheap chinese products becuase that mean jobn lose in India. Will you do that?
@undercover I don't know UR profession for e.g U r working as XYZ(10 k per month) and suddenly 1000 XYZ come from "any where"(because u like UP, Bihar so don't use) grab majority of job of XYZ's(Inc. yours) in 2k and u find difficult get job of higher than 2k then u well-come these XYZ's.
When it come to ur job then i muddling the issues
First answer-UR biharies not come in numbers of 1 and 2.
Second-Biharies as farm labor in Maharashtra ,Punjab.... don't u know that per head land in Bs is greater than MH. so why these beggar want to make other state BIHAR.
I intensely not give example of taxi then u say there is not people to travel in taxies.
@lax7221
My dear friend you are so rattled that your response is incoherent to me. I dont even know what you are saying, and I guess it is because you yourself do not know what you are saying.
As for my job, I am pretty ok with competition, my friend. If someone wants to do same work which I do for far lesser cost, so be it. I am not going to beat that fellow, but re-skill myself. BTW. I guess you understand difference between skilled and unskilled jobs.
God there is a serious problem with u. You Don't wanna look things in their own place and just writing some blah blah matter. Writing in long paragraps dosenot give answer to core issues.
If we decide to go with your analogy. It is rediculus that Marathi people who can passout IAS,IPS & Can create a silicon vally but cannot passout TC exam. Are such exams are more tough than IAS/IPS & IITs?
Go thorugh a artical in loksatta two days befor about how RRB is baised towards non-hindi people.
Never put a question mark on capabilities of Maharashtrians....
@prashu,
God is a problem, not me. You yourself are not sure about what your core issue is! Is it railways jobs? or taxiwalls? Or panwals? Or is it about threat to Marathi culture? is your issue about crumbling Mumbai? Is it about urban planning? What is your core issue?
"why Marathis manoos might not be passing railway exam"
Becuase RRB is agianst Marathis?? Why?? Others dont have any problem, why only Marathis have problem?
Let me answer this. The reason is that "problem" is largely fabricated. You see otherwise how will they get your votes.
Dear Undercover,
I can sense the frustration you are facing while backing bihari's stand. Initially you were blaming thackreys then marathi attitude now u have started blaming GOD. I am very much sure about the core of the issue and that is non development of UP/Bihar whose leaders are bussy in only one plan and that is corruption. In the entire discussion have u ever though about this?
And for RRB, just go through 2 day's before loksatta sadly it is not available on net.
Let me answer you also that problem is fabricated by north indian politicians lobby who wanna rule Mumbai and hence increasing their vote bank by supporting migration.
Guys, lets please avoid personal fights. It reminds me of rediff comments :(. We all know politicians and media both have their own agenda's. Both of them can't do without one, we must accept that.
Now what would be the right or practical way to improve the situation. As i said earlier, i am totally with agenda's of MNS but i am not in agreement with their execution because it attacks common man. Which means i don't know what to do. Rest whatever is following is inflated by media for making their buck out of it. As long as we all understand this we are ok.
That brings us to do nothing but debate and come to a balanced opinion about the whole thing.
@kiran What is MNS's agenda?
To solve problems of local's in maharashtra.
Dear Kiran,
Correct we should avoid personal fights. This is also MNS agenda to unite all Maharashtrians. Sorry for anything personal went against in my reply to anyone.
But I would like to check agenda of those who are supporting bihari goondaism.....
@prashu
Ha ha. I am neither supporting Biharis nor Marathis. I see no point of supporting either of you. I only support idea of India.
Regional politics wheather based on Bihari or marathi identity will weaken us collectively and lots of real issues are sidestracked by charging up people emotionally as is being done in Maharshtra and UP/Bihar now.
Dear Undercover
And sad part is that instead of focusing on real issue that is over all development through out the nation instead of concentrated development of few cities which you are still not ready to accept.
Just Marathi bashing will not help.
And yes I am supporting Marathi's viewpoint
@prashu
When did I bash marathis? Dont make your your inferences. Just becuase someone can give you another point of view, doesnt mean that he is against you.
Cities are important part of modernisation. So India need many cities with modern urban planning. Cities are part of country and not a state. Nobody comes to Mumbai thinking that he/she is going to Maharshtra. Mumbai stands on its own. And your upteen arguments here would not change that part even a bit.
Yes I supporr Indian viewpoint. For me Marathi, bihari, hindu , muslim identities are below national identities and I dont fall prey to any politicain claming to fight for my cause when I know that he is merely fighting with his uncle and his own career.
@Undercover
The way you presenting your point of you, i think its totally one sided. You should think about what is good for maharashtra development and maharashtrian people & also for U.P.ultimately for India. Every state have their limits in respect of employment, resources etc. should understand north indian politicians. You should present your point in balanced way.
