Among the battery of lawyers defending Raj Thackeray, one stands out because of his surname. Akhilesh Chaubey is the public face of the MNS leader's legal team, and is also, for all purposes, the official spokes-person of the defence.
The 32-year-old lawyer, whose family is from Jaunpur in UP, isn't apologetic about being the most ardent North Indian supporter of Raj.
Chaubey's association with Raj goes back to 1987 when he was an activist of Shiv Sena's student wing Bharati Vidyarthi Sena, then headed by Raj. "I'm a follower of Rajsaheb's ideology and political views right from the beginning. Rajsaheb's only concern is betterment of Maharashtra," Chaubey said.
"I am used to getting calls from people in UP and Bihar, asking me to disassociate myself from MNS," he added.

Dont forget that Raj openly commenetd that he admired hitler. Now anybody who has read Mein Kemf would know that he is following what Hitler worte in his book about "Propaganda as Political tool". Hilter said that Propaganda is a about cherry picking information, distorting it and presenting it in a way that the target audience would be alarmed. By repeating it continously, the propaganda starts mobalising people and once you get mass mobalisation, you have arrived as a political leader. Hitler used it in Germany when he prached to ordinary Germans that Jews were responsible for all of Germany's problems. Now what Raj T is doing is exactly same , albeit on a smaller scale.
And it is pity that we are falling to his charade in 21st century. And even sader part is that Raj is young politician who was supposed to bring in fresh outlook to politics.

I have never commented on rediff so I do not know what you mean by this. I know maharastrian perspective very well. I also understand Muslim perspective when some of them become terrorists and also Dalit perspective and Bihari perspective. Only perspective I don't understand is violence perspective. Because in India , we are so diverse that there are thousands faultlines which can be used by people with vested interest and we will end up killing each other.

Exactly. India is a culural cauldron and that makes it beautiful. But India is bigger than its components. And as indians all of us have agreed on some key principles, like liberty, freedom, rights to work anywhere in country.Biharis are poor, they have to migrate to states like Maharashtra (mainly cities), Delhi, Punjab and other states where they are employed in low wage jobs. There is nothing wrong in that. They do not dilute marathi culture. There are 3 crore marathis living outside Maharashtra (worldwide).Culture get chnaged over time and evolve. Nobody is trying to finish Marathi culture or language. Most marathis I know send their kids to English language schools and wear traditonal marathi clothes only on festival times. Does it mean that they are diluting Marathi culture?? Then how is a migrant who works in factory in Pune, but cant speak marathi , be a threat to Marathi culture? "Cultural threat" is a red herring. There is nothing called Static culture. Is Marathi culture or Tamil culture defined somewhere in a book!!

Correct. You said homeland. India is also homeland to north indians as much as it is of others.Who stops marathis from plying taxis or selling venegtables or opening ironing shops!! If a poor bihari plies taxi in Mumbai , he also does that in Delhi. These are self employments and driven by market. Many thousands Marathi are working in Bangalore in Software. If MNS knows where and when railways exams are being conducted then can tell Marathi youth about it , if ads are not put in marathi papers.

I dont have to answer this becuase you have obviously not read about Gandhi or follow him otherwise you woudn't have asked this question. Non violence is not cowrdiness. And raping of girl is not equal to question being discussed here. In most likelihood if a girls is being raped on road, the culprit would be one of those who throw stones on buses filled with pessengers and burn buses without any reason. They are cowards who hunt in groups and then flee.

promotions depend on our productivity, isn't it?
so i feel the representation in parliament should be
based on productivity(the economic output) of each
state in india. then only there will be efforts for the
improvements of respective states.
also every state would get in proportion to the efforts

flocks and packs?

1>u get to sell on footpath without any charge. the only
thing is u should be agile and alert so as to detect
municipal vans and flee from the spot with the
mobile(rather portable) belongings.no taxes to pay just
profits to earn ,at the cost of tea or a few bucks for
the police or local dadas, who are the protectors (and
so take their unofficial fees)
the surprising thing is only here in mumbai that u can
sell even footpath patches for a few lac rupees.
2>u construct slums of some immaterial material at
vacant places (reserved for some purpose say a crz or
some not-so-reputed ground,etc.),fill it with garib
bichara bhaiyyas and reap huge returns by doing
agentgiri.also before demolishment ensure (in fact no
need to ensure, what's our (maha)c.m. for?besides we
biharis form a substantial part of their vote bank,
isn't?also we have become 'substantial'due to "krupa" of
'vote-bank politicians' here :) ) that u get tidy blocks
of no less than 225 sq ft (worth some 25-lacs or more)
under the name of rehabilitation.
3>u steal automobiles from here(there is infinite
variety to choose from, as lot many are parked) and sell
them at cheaper rates(though u got them for free
neglecting the small amount of risk that was of course
there) and sell them in u.p.,bihar.there is lot of demand
in u.p, bihar for them:these vehicles are demanded as
and are received in the form of dowry.
4>.......they have fake taxi/rickshaw meters and fare
cards

there is no room for more.though people have right to

why do the natives not have 80% of railway jobs in

As you assumed that, I haven't read Gandhiji or Hitler, doesn't mean that I don't know anything about them. Its simple that we comment on many things in our day to day life giving examples, but this doesn't mean that everything we say is wrong as we have only read about them in history and not read there autobiography.
As I have previously posted that I agree with the point that violence against paanwalas and taxidrivers or poors is wrong.
But still will you not try to understand what he have to say at all??
LALOO was in mumbai when MNS approached them with the request letter(not a forced order kindly note it) for considering the local people for railway jobs. And he refused to accept it or even atleast have read it. Do you accept this from a national leader ?? In my opinion he must have atleast accepted it, studied it, and thought a bit of what was the need these people had to approach me with this request letter?
Need arised only because we are denied of central government specially railway jobs. Candidates are hardly selected from Maharashtra. There was recuritment of 55,000 employee last year and not 55 were selected from maharashtra are we that dumb!!!
I have personally appeared once for these central gov. jobs and when I saw the results of selected candidates for next level examinations majority were of north indians, why?? Are we not Indians too?? Are not other state people excluding Bihar and UP components of INDIA??

Doesn't matter at all. There are 30 Lakhs of UP/Biharis in all over Maharashtra alone. There are more than 3 lakhs of south indians in Maharashtra. We have respected everyone always and so there are large number of people of different languages in Maharashtra.

I am, only going to comment on few of things you mentioned since in principle you agree with What I have been saying.

Lets say we agree on this. Now zero down on North, Punjab , Haryana and Himachal have always maintained that they are shortchanged by centre. Punjabis feel that centre has interfered in thier politics many time (remember Bhindrawale!!). JnK is altogther a different story and not worth discussing here. That leaves UP and Bihar. Presently UP is run by Mayawati which has launched big tirade against center and it policies. There was a time when most of big national leaders came from UP alone , but that is long gone. So what makes you say that North has dominated you? Who is this north and how have they dominated you or anybody? If you think it clearly, it is not north, but most probably you mean "centre" And every state has some or other problem with this center. And this centre is nothing but India. The India which is all of us combined. Its emergence of regional parties in decade of 90 which has created this new politics of everybody blaming center because this is how you can separate out "the other" and consolidate your own vote bank. Regional interests need to be given attention but not regionalism and unfortunately that is happening in India.

Media is dominated by North??? really! Who runs IBN Lokmat?? They have come down heavily on MNS brand of politics. Muslims say Media is run by Hindus, Rural India say Media is run by Urban middleclass, Dalits say Media is run by Brahmins. Now you say Media is run by north Indians. Next time they will destory your shops because you were selling valentine's day cards.
