Raj Thackeray led MNS suffered its first big jolt before the assembly polls, with its general secretary Shweta Parulkar quitting the party and joining the rival Shiv Sena on Thursday.
Parulkar, who was one of the founders of the MNS, alleged that that the party was doing "big injustice'' to Marathi manoos by dividing them. "I was an MNS candidate for the LS polls and bagged over 1 lakh votes. But I realised that by my candidature, Marathi votes were divided which resulted in the victory of the Congress. I now refuse to be a part of the MNS whose only agenda is to weaken Marathis. Most people who voted for the MNS are realising their mistake and have decided to vote for the Shiv Sena in the assembly elections,'' she said. The MNS has refuted her claim.

Haha .. too early. This things will keep on happening. She is not the first one, before this 4 other memembers also joined sena.
There was some corruption problems with the unit headed by ms. shweta parulekar and thats why raj thackrey closed it down. Why he did it abruptly and without taking the people in confidence is another issue .. maybe thats how he wanted.
at a baser level it could also be that she is preparing to capitalise on the sympathy wave being generated for the old man. it will be interesting to see what happens after the era of the senior thackeray is over
No wounder for Mubaiker for this news. Wait and watch some more big names will back to shiv sena..and for that solely Mr. RAJ THAKRE is responsible. If he still behave like this then very soon his MNS will turn in to bad shape? Who is Sharmila Thakre and how come she is became secretary in one night? Thakre is only name behind her. What is her contribution to the people? Mr. Raj Thakre is also doing the same which he blames to others. I am not wounder Mr. BALA NANDGAONKAR will also rejoin the shivsena. Still his membership is not been canceled.
