The labour wing of MNS, Maharashtra navanirman kamgar sena recently threatened to launch an agitation if the private sector does not reserve 80 per cent of all jobs for Marathi-speaking locals. Obviously, the private sector protested strongly.
It seems they have already written letters to more than 45,000 companies to comply the demand. It might sound very big and revolting and what not. But there is a goverment resolution issues in 1973 to reserve 80% of the industrial jobs to locals and basically MNS will take that law in their own hands to implement it.
Lets see how media is going to put it.
