In a throwback to the 90s when the Shiv Sena launched an agitation to rename Bombay, Sainiks took to the streets on Sunday and vandalised signboards of two institutions using the old nomenclature. Over 15 people chanting ‘Shiv Sena Zindabad’ painted ‘Mumbai Scottish’ on the wall outside Bombay Scottish School. And in Worli, 15 Shiv Sena activists knocked down Bombay Dyeing boards outside the company’s showroom.

Interestingly, 17-year-old Aditya, son of Sena executive president Uddhav Thackeray, is a former student of Bombay Scottish.
