Where was Uddhav when entire north was making hue & cry against maharashtrians and maharashtra government arrested RAJ and filed more than 50 cases against him?

I sincerly request both Uddhav and Raj to come together and fight than fighting between themselves.

In finality, it is thier family fight which is hurting everybody including the foundation of country. (we are staring at regional riots now). If they come together, there would be more peace and harmony for everybody.

@drona exactly. And that Raj Thackery can not use "dirty" Indian style loo in jail , even for a day. May be he doesnt know that 70% of indians dont have access to toilets and that they defecate in open. And that is true for poor maharashtrian villagers also.

If there is one, it is certainly not visible or audible. MNS claims to speak for marathi manoos and Marthi manoos certainly have not come out and spoken against MNS. Neither the intelectuals nor the middle classes.
My belief is certainly that all this is politics. The intellectual and inquisitive Marathi mind should wake and realise that all this issue could have been done in a much better way.

in last one month, we have seen how these north-Indian leaders manipulate the news and put the pressure on government. Do you still expect Raj to fight with some other way? not the ULFA way? Yes, it is politics, a politics done for better future of Marathi people and Maharashtra. Although RAMA and Krishna were from North -India, not every North-Indian is RAMa and Krishna. Answer me ... Why Didn't TATA chose Bihar or UP for NANO project? When Narendra Modi and Vilasrao Deshmukh were trying to get NANO in Gujrat and Maharashtra respectively, where were Nitish kumar and Mayawati? were they sleeping or watching a nautanki? Yesterday, i heard Digvijay Singh saying that , if Bihar and Jharkhand stop giving Coal , what will Maharashtra do ? He should understand that they are not giving the Coal for free, Maharashtra is paying for that. It will be better, if he can stop flow of migrants from Bihar and Jharkhand instead of COAL.

Shashank, No Politics is done for benefit of others. It is all done for the benefit of politician. I have not witnessed a psycho near to me I agree but I see this as part of a malaise that politicians want to grow. More Biharis might take to extremism. And may kill and die in Mumbai. This will be to advantage of leaders of 2 states. Maharashtra and Bihar. And probably enemies of India who still have never reconciled with an idea of India.
I am not saying that allow immigration into Mumbai. But for all the shout of immigration there are many marathis from rural maharashtra who also come to Mumbai.
As for Tata choosing Gujurat, we saw that they did not choose maharashtra as well, neither did IBS when they chose to open a school and many more business houses have taken the same way.
India should have 7 financial hubs across the nation. Probably Indore, Chandigarh, Vizag, Surat, Aurangabad, Greater Noida, Jamshedpur. I believe if rather than fighting on Marathi Bihari a visionary outlook can be created then a solution is there in sight.
Remember all this is with an eye on comin elections. Leaders like Digvijay and Laloo have 2 points to make. First wedge between Sena and BJP. Second forcing marathis to react more so that they can get a similar reaction in UP, MP and Bihar.

I support Raj bcos I think Raj's activities are needed, as it will result in pushing Laloo and other leaders to work towards progress of other states. otherwise they will sit idle like a buffalo and one day Maharashtra will be ruined with earthquake caused due to excessive weight of people.
As a Marathi Manoos I do feel that Mumbai and Maharshtra needs to progress but I feel somewhere that the demon in us is being waked up regarding all this issue. Killing of a UP labourer should have been the last thing to do but probably we will justify that killing as well.

Why don't we all take a lesson from South,more specifically Tamil Nadu.Will the Bhaiyas dare to go there in thousands ?Not at all b'cause no one will speak in Hindi with them.If they have to stay there they would have to learn the State language.
Unlike in Maharashtra,where we the locals speak in Hindi and accommodate them instead of Vica versa thus making it very easy for them,so much so that these people have no respect for our language.So the fault lies with us too,why do we readily give up our identity,no other state will do that whether its south or the east.
Its very easy to say all this is politics,but does anyone try to find out the root cause of these things.These underlying tensions are simmering far too long,so I feel Raj Thackeray is rightly representing our cause and all Maharashtrians should unite for this.

As far as MNS stand is concerned, i feel that, Maharashtra always thought about country first. But you cannot let your neighbors simply stay in your house and let them suck out your blood. Biharis and UP walas have lowered down the average daily wages in Maharashtra. Simply take an example of Security Guard jobs. More than 10 outsiders stay in single small hut of 10 by 10 feet. They work for Rs3000/- per month. How can a Marathi person with family can survive in this much salary. Marathis cannot compete for this salary and they loose this opportunity. Again, the security agencies that exist in Maharashtra belongs to north Indians. It is shameless that our government allows non-maharashtrians to handle security in our state.
I am damn sure that Maharashtra will support Raj with full strength, so that he can form government and clean out this rubbish and bad-mannered people from Maharashtra.

If security agencies in Mumbai belong to North indians, what stops marathis form starting security agencies. As for as I know Security agencies are privately owned and they can employe anybody who they deem fit for economic reasons. Are you looking for socialism?

The common sense of companies state that they should give contract to the firm which quotes less. As you know North-Indians work on lower wages, obviously the firms they work for quotes lower cost for the companies.
Marathis cannnot work on that much lower wages, now dont tell me that marathis also should live with Rs.3000/ Month.

For your kind information India (including north) is more than Bihar and UP. But you cant seems to see anyything other than UP and Bihar these days. I dont feel bad when somebody talks bad about north Indians , or south Indians, but I feel bad when poor people are beaten up on roads and buses burnt. And I feel bad when a "hate compaign" is started agianst whole communtiy.Hate makes one blind. We have enough of hate in India already..Hindu muslim, castes, ..now regionalism
I can also say that if you really want to do anything constructive for marathis, teach them to be competitive , not combative. Utilise your energies that way.

what a nice country we r living in, we dont have even a national language, everybody is trying to make their local language as national language. Well Guys, Thanks for commenting on my first news posted on Marathi katta. But main motive behind putting this was to unite Maharshtrians so that they can put pressure on their leader to unite against north lobby.
But sorry to say that the discussion so far have been carried away to Marathi-non marathi issue. Thanks to people like undercover who are going on commenting beside asked not to comment as his mindset is like aaj-tak. I guess he reads only english newspaper and watch only english news channels which are against marathi from the day one.
So I am not expecting anything good from such people and better let us not waste our time to answer anything to them. As he dose not have any point and always keep messing up issues.
