There is as much activity going on at Seawind, the Cuffe Parade residence of the Ambanis, as at their various business houses. In a first for a residential building in Mumbai, the Ambanis are constructing a helipad atop their 20-storey home.
Construction work for the helipad has been going on for the last five days and residents of neighbouring buildings have been watching workers put up a gigantic crane, brought especially from Jamnagar, to lift huge metal slabs that are being used to build the helipad.
