For the first time in the history (contemporary history) of mithi river, Flamingoes are seen at the mithi river where it meets the mahim creek.
I really enjoyed the news but more then that i enjoyed reading this news clip in indian express. Let me summarise it for you .. .

Flock of flamingoes are seen at mithi river indicating revival of mithi river.

Famingoes were coming on of off before settling down on 3rd day, confirming the fact that pollution is less in mithi river now.

There are total 11 famingoes to certify the group as flock and that means mithi river scene is definately improving

Pollution is less now because removal of silt from the creek which allowed salth water to come in. Bravo ..

This flock is mostly young and strong enough to fly back, so don't be surprise if they disappear one day .. there is nothing wrong with mithi river.

To view these 11 young flamingoes a viewers deck will be set up at mithi river where all mumbaikars can witness that condition of mithi river is improving.

Thank you very much to those 11 young brave flamingoes.
From heart...
BMC.
