I disagree to above statement and the cheek of the media to make such statement. Just because there is someone who is fighting for issues of Marathi people in todays date. The fact of the matter is whole of media - AAj kal and others are 90 % Bhaiyya and all thier egos are thrashed.The media is showing a complete different picture as always for issue raised by MNS against UP/Bihar. It is always commented as North Indian whereas the issue is only with UP/ Bihar.I think that everyone in Mumbai should support the cause. Because this is a genuine problem of Mumbai. Just observe if you can there was a time when there were GURKHAS / watchman who were mostly Nepalis now it is only Bhayas. The vegetable wala, Dudh wala, Riksha wala, MTNL office, Railways, Income tax most of the staff in Mumbai are these guys. One guy comes and then gets other and then they start building local community and now it is beyond imagination in Mumbai. They do not allow any other community to enter in this locality which they have created. For eg: A vegetable wala Bhaya will get a neighbor who is fruit wala bhaya and then all of them will make a community and will not allow any other community people to do any business in this locality. This is the way they spread. There is no limit on the production. Paida Karo aur Mumbai bhej do. There is a community building which is happening and which should be opposed. Imagine people from this community who are uneducated and never see women’s on the roads and social suddenly coming to Mumbai and seeing so many womens who are working traveling. It is so difficult for womens nowadays to travel through Mumbai’s train because of this guys who are on the railway platforms and on roads and keep seeing womens as they have never seen one before. You too have families and imagine the plight of Mumbai if this keeps increasing. You are right in saying that anyone can travel from one state to other in INDIA. But why this bulk transit and community formation. No one is paying attention to this and letting it happen as it is not affecting them yet. Let marathis and Bhayas fight this is nothing to do with me. But I feel this is a genuine problem of Mumbai. Community formation will only harm us and do no good. Some people are of view that we should separate Mumbai from Maharashtra. But will this solve the problem. It may only help that Marathi people will not be fighting against this. This is similar to asking for separate Kashmir. The local people in Mumbai are maharashtrian and you are asking them to give up on the city. Also this will not solve the problem by one percent also. So many migration from various part of the country to Mumbai. If Government without realization further starts officially recruiting staff in Mumbai from other parts of the country then this may lead to further concentration. Imagine the railway recruitment forms for Mumbai were never released for distribution in Maharashtra, South India, Kolkatta but were only released in Northern states. The city limit is to burst. It will be difficult for the city to provide adequate infrastructure with such increasing population. Also this may further lead to violence in the city ( EG: Newyork). This can be avoided at this stage by developing and creating more opportunities in other cities viz Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Noida, Kerala etc. Think differently.
