Shubha Raul, Mumbai’s first citizen wants to plant thorny shrubs, perhaps cacti, on the rocks off the Bandstand, to dissuade couples from parking themselves there. If none of the plans is workable, the indefatigable Raul said, the BMC would put up signboards warning people that it is dangerous to sit on the rocks. She said, however, that signboards would not be of much use, because “pyaar mein to log andhe hote hain (love is blind)”.
