A commuter who was fined by a ticket-checker of the Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) Undertaking in March 2007, fought against the administration when he found out that he had been wrongly charged. On Wednesday, he was awarded a cheque of Rs 50 after he made BEST realise its mistake. Interestingly, the commuter has spent more than Rs 500 till date. read more »
