BEST is making a list of conductors who can interact in English with its commuters. They will be deployed on the recently-inaugurated KingLong buses, which would be plying in lanes specially earmarked for these buses. BEST expects car-owners and first-class train travellers to take the KingLong service.

After a long wait, the Brihanamumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) undertaking’s Chinese KingLong buses will finally roll on the Mumbai roads.
However, the bus will not have its traditional red colour, it will be blue and violet. BEST will launch the service as a New Year’s gift to commuters in January after the state government clears the new colours.
