Marathi stage artist Sadanand Joshi passed away this morning following a cardiac arrest, family sources said.
Joshi (86) is survived by his wife Asha and a son, Nilesh and daughter Nilima.
Joshi has performed around 300 stage shows. His contributions include 'Hasya Kallol', 'Swami', 'Mee Atre Boltoi', which is based on the life of Acharya Atre, a noted playwright.

On Sunday, Marathi dramatist Annasaheb Kirloskar’s legendary musical Sangeet Saubhadra will come alive on stage at the University of Pune’s (UoP) Namdev Sabhagriha. Only this time, the play will be in English metrical verse instead of Hindustani classical songs.
