With the Bandra-Worli sealink project hanging incomplete and the Worli-Nariman Point plan still on paper, the state now wants to build a new one — a 13-km bridge over the western seaboard from Bandra to Versova.
Public Works Department Minister Anil Deshmukh told HT that the detailed bid document for the project would be prepared and the mandatory environment clearance got from the Centre.
