What a writer!!!!!!!!! Just finished reading his "Mazi Smarangatha" before that I read "Aamhi Bhagirathaache Putra", a story of bakra-nangal dam.. Awesome.....
His trilogy of Dnyaneshwar-Tukaram-Ramdas "Mogra Phulala"-"Tuka Abhalayevadha"-:Das Dongari Rahato" is simply supurb. His "Krishnavedh" explores hidden personality of Radha,Kubja & Pendya.
Marathi stage artist Sadanand Joshi passed away this morning following a cardiac arrest, family sources said.
Joshi (86) is survived by his wife Asha and a son, Nilesh and daughter Nilima.
Joshi has performed around 300 stage shows. His contributions include 'Hasya Kallol', 'Swami', 'Mee Atre Boltoi', which is based on the life of Acharya Atre, a noted playwright.

A commuter who was fined by a ticket-checker of the Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) Undertaking in March 2007, fought against the administration when he found out that he had been wrongly charged. Western Railway has selected Dadar and Virar stations to install the first set of escalators at railway stations in the city, according to the promise made by Railway Minister Lalu Prasad in his budget speech.
