While on all India tour I had the chance to visit the offices of H.O.D's,I was shocked to see THE PHOTOGRAPH OF THE PRESIDENT OF INDIA NOT PROJECTED,i HAVE WRITTEN TO PRESS(LOKSATTA,MATA,AND OTHER MARATHI PAPERS AND ALSO TO SOME WRITERS)but even after two month's no offic has PRESIDENTS PHOTO.letter was sent to MAHA PARICHAY KENDRA,DG IPR,MANISHA MHAISKAR,but none has take the no read more »

Fifteen-year-old SSC student Amish Jaisinghani, whose hand was broken after four bus conductors of the Mira-Bhayandar Municipal Transport (MBMT) beat him up over a Rs 50-note on Saturday, appeared for his History and Civics paper on Monday.

Noted Marathi writer Y D Phadke died here on Friday following a brief illness. He was 77. Phadke was president of the Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Sahitya Sammelan (literary meet) held in Belgaum.
