On Sunday night, Nirmala (24) and Jignesh Shah (28) were on their bike riding from their home in Malad to dinner at Goregaon. They were also supposed to meet a friend at the airport.
On the Andheri-Kurla road, they were hit by a Maruti Zen and were thrown off the bike and landed 10 feet away. The Shahs were injured and they approached the car to reprimand the driver about the incident. read more »

A six-year old class II student allegedly drowned in the school pool while swimming in a northwest suburb, police said on Wednesday.

Hare Krishna Uday Singh was swimming in the pool of Janaki Devi School in Andheri on Tuesday afternoon with the help of a float. The boy could not hold on to the float and started drowning, they said.

My favourite Vada Pav is Vada Pav at Ashok Satam's stall (known as CTO vada pav) on the Flora Fountain side of the Central Telegraph Office (CTO) in Mumbai.
