विधानसभेत जाण्यापूर्वी अबू आझमींनी शिवसेनाप्रमुख बाळासाहेब ठाकरेंवर टीका केली. सामनाच्या अग्रलेखात आझमी आणि विधानसभेतल्या मनसेच्या राड्याबद्दल लिहीताना ठाकरेंनी याला मराठीचं फिक्सिंग असं म्हटलंय. त्यावर प्रतिक्रिया देताना आझमी यांनी वाढत्या वयासोबतच बाळासाहेबांची बुद्धी लहान मुलासारखी होत चालली आहे. बाळासाहेब स्वत:च निवडणुकीनंतर मराठी माणसांवर नाराज झालेत, असं पत्रकारांशी बोलताना म्हटलं.

मला वाटतं घटनेनुसार जवळजवळ २२ संमत भाषांमधून आमदार शपथ घेऊ शकतात. अबू आझमींनी ’त्या’ प्रसंगानंतर पत्रकारांसमोर असे सांगितले आहे की, काही आमदारांनी इंग्रजीतून शपथा घेतल्या. जर ’ते’ चालते तर ’हे’ का नको? हे जर खरं असेल तर आझमींचं काहीच चुकलं नाही. कारण आग्रह मराठीचा आहे, त्यामुळे विरोध इंग्रजी भाषेलाही व्हायला हवा होता. वक्तव्य केल्यानंतर त्यावर कार्यवाही होणार हे मनसेचं तत्व आहे त्यामुळे ’मनसे’ने

The employees at Private Banks and Private insurance companies' offfices in Thane and Pune are increasingly from Hindi States. These people straightway refuse to speak in Marathi and instead, many of them arrogantly ask customer in Hindi. This causes great inconvenience for customers who may not speak Hindi fluently. Besides, it's grossly unfair.
