सकाळचे ११ वाजले आणि नेहमी प्रमाणे ऑफिसचे कामकाज सुरु झाले.ऑफिसमध्ये काही शिपायांच्या जागा भरायच्या असल्याने नोकरीसाठी गेटवर ताटकळत बसलेल्या रामूला साहेबांनी हाक मारली. रामू लकवा भरल्यागत साहेबांसमोर येऊन उभा राहीला. सत्तेची आणि लाचारीची ओळख ऑफिसच्या दरवाजातच आली.
