The BMC is inching closer towards having its budget expenditure audited by a third party.
The civic body will have the pilot project started in six months, in its health, education, water supply, roads and solid waste management departments.
The BMC has budgeted Rs 8,617 crore this year for infrastructure projects and has spent only Rs 981 crore or 11% of the budgeted amount so far.
According to the Maharashtra government's own records, there are about 1.6 lakh units across micro, small and medium industries which together employ 10.86 lakh people. Of these, 91% of the non-supervisory jobs and 97% of the supervisory posts are held by locals.

Your write-up is quite an emotional one, and if I do not apply my mind I too would be biased criticizing only the Maharastrians for Bihari bashing which is taking place in Maharastra.
