After having exempted Bhojpuri movies from Theatre tax, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has now proposed to exempt all regional language movies and dramas from tax from the year 2008-09.

Till now, only Marathi and Gujarati films and drama shows along with tamasha shows were exempted from Theatre tax in Mumbai. read more »
